We are currently seeking out a Leading Hand to come and join a well-respected, highly sort after mid tier commercial building company. We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in leading a team and providing support where necessary.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • General labouring duties including physical activities and tasks as required in line with the individual’s certificates. (forklift etc)
  • Day to Day management of the project site amenities, inclusive of site fencing
  • Organisation and management of the project site waste management process
  • Supervision of companies hired labour to conduct tasks provided by the project Site Manager
  • Supervision, scheduling and undertaking of project site deliveries
  • Supervision of large site-specific traffic management installations and undertaking traffic management duties
  • Be willing to work as part of the team in ensuring compliance with the projects integrated management plans. (Such as undertake project inductions)
  • Aid supervision of safety, quality, and productivity on site


  • 5 Years Construction Industry Experience
  • Construction Industry Induction (White) Card (favourable)
  • Site Safety Awareness
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Basic computer skills or the willingness to learn

Would be considered favourable:

  • Dogman or Rigging, Scaffold Appreciation
  • Tower Crane License
  • Forklift or Telehandler License
  • Working at Heights
  • Traffic Management Certificate
  • Tilt Panel Safe Work Awareness
