Senior HR Advisor – FIFO Contract

An exciting opportunity to be a part of a leading Australian mining company. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing functional human resources support to site with a focus on maintaining a motivated workforce that is committed to the client’s success and values.

This is a FIFO role role functioning on an 8:6 roster that may have operate in the Perth office occasionally (ad hoc). The contract will commence in February 2024 and last for 5-6 months.

About The Role

  • Provide advice, support to leaders in the areas of areas of employee relations, policies, procedures, and performance management.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of employee engagement activities including but not limited to on-boarding, development planning, diversity & inclusion, and wellness programs.
  • Ensure all general employee queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide support and guidance to leaders in the areas of recruitment, succession planning and employee development
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of all reports for the People and Engagement department and effectively communicate, analyse, and interpret information gathered
  • Assist with relevant HR Administrative tasks where required. e.g. monitoring the site inbox, scheduling, site visit coordination and monthly org chart reviews etc.

About You

  • A Tertiary degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Demonstrated Human Resources experience, within the resources sector and a fly in fly out environment is desirable
  • Exposure to employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management
  • Able to work autonomously while building collaborative relationships and utilising influencing skills
  • Valid Manual Driver’s Licence
